<p>Classic jasmine <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/green-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with green tea">green tea</a> comes from China, and it&#8217;s one of the most popular scented teas in the world. Although a majority of <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/jasmine-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with jasmine tea">jasmine tea</a> made with Chinese green tea, other countries, such as Japan and Sri Lanka, are producing it too! Of course, each of them has its own charm and if you like jasmine tea, trying different types is super fun. Jasmine green tea from BOH comes from Malaysia, and it&#8217;s made with Malaysian grown green tea leaves &#8211; definitely not your usual green tea.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in Jasmine Green Tea?</h2>

<p>BOH, a tea company with a 100-year history, is the biggest <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/malaysian-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Malaysian tea">Malaysian tea</a> producer. If you visit Malaysia, there&#8217;s a high chance you&#8217;ll run into BOH&#8217;s teas. You can get them from supermarkets, and you&#8217;ll find them in hotels too. This Jasmine green tea comes from Cameron Highlands, where most of Malaysian tea is growing. It&#8217;s flavoured with a natural jasmine flavour, and it smells absolutely delicious.</p>

<p>What&#8217;s also interesting is that Malaysia is not only producing small quantities of tea, but most of its tea is black.</p>

<p>Ever heard of Teh Tarik? It&#8217;s a type of Malaysian <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/milk/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with milk">milk</a> tea, and it&#8217;s <a href="https://allthattea.com/12-milk-teas-you-can-make-at-home/">easy to make at home</a> too! </p>

<p>Boh Jasmine green tea is very far from a typical from a regular supermarket jasmine teas. It&#8217;s playful, vibrant, fresh, with a beautiful and intense jasmine scent. It almost feels as if you are smelling fresh flowers, rather than tea. The whole blend feels light and airy.</p>

<p>This tea is available only in classic tea bags.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea.jpg" alt="indiviual tea bag" class="wp-image-4150" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea.jpg 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea-300x200.jpg 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea-768x512.jpg 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea-450x300.jpg 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea-225x150.jpg 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea-900x600.jpg 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea-20x13.jpg 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-green-tea-144x96.jpg 144w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to brew this tea?&nbsp; &nbsp;</h2>

<p>To make the best cup of green tea, always bring fresh water to a boil and let it cool down to 80 degrees Celsius. Steep one tea bag for 2-3 minutes in a cup of water. Temperature is quite important for this tea, as it has a slight astringency if over brewed. However, this is quite common with traditional tea bags, especially with green tea.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing.jpg" alt="brewing tea bag" class="wp-image-4152" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing.jpg 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing-300x200.jpg 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing-768x512.jpg 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing-450x300.jpg 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing-225x150.jpg 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing-900x600.jpg 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing-20x13.jpg 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/boh-jasmine-tea-brewing-144x96.jpg 144w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Once brewed, both scent and flavour are exactly the same as the scent of dry leaves. This tea feels quite rich, with a light natural sweetness. Although this tea can easily be described as a full-bodied green tea, it feels light. While the jasmine scent and flavour are very pronounced, they are not overpowering. Jasmine is present as an aftertaste too.</p>

<p>Because of a beautiful jasmine scent, this tea is a wonderful choice for a relaxing me-time. Who would like this tea? If you love the scent of jasmine flowers and love full-bodied green teas, you&#8217;ll love this tea too. Since it&#8217;s quite deep and flavourful, this would be a great tea for making a proper sweetened iced tea too. However, if you are prefer classic jasmine teas, you may find the scent too intense.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is Lemon Curd Tea?</h2>

<p>First, let&#8217;s talk about lemon curd. Lemon curd is a dessert spread made with lemons, butter, sugar and egg. It&#8217;s smooth and zesty and can be used for baking or enjoyed simply spread over bread. Lemon curd is so tasty that it really deserves a tea of its own. With the Lemon Curd Tea, <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/fortnum-mason/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Fortnum &amp; Mason">Fortnum &amp; Mason</a> have made that a reality.</p>

<p>Lemon Curd Tea is made with <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/green-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with green tea">green tea</a>, white hibiscus, liquorice root, lemon peel and lemon curd flavouring. It comes in individually wrapped pyramid tea bags with loose tea. The packaging is pretty and cheerful and has a feel of a proper desert blend. In short, super pretty and exciting.  </p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-jpg.webp" alt="silk tea bag" class="wp-image-4139" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-fortnum-and-mason-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>This tea has only a few ingredients, and all of them contribute to the flavour. Perhaps, the most interesting one is white hibiscus, not as common in tea as its red counterpart. Hibiscus is an amazing ingredient that gives a perfect amount of tartness and is not as sour as lemon. A big difference between red and white hibiscus is that the white one won&#8217;t colour the tea. There&#8217;s also liquorice, a natural sweetener that is perfect for balancing this blend.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to make this tea?</h2>

<p>Lemon Curd is a loose tea in pyramid tea bags. That means it&#8217;s easier to brew than loose tea but offers a better flavour than a classic tea bag. Bring fresh water to a boil and let it cool down to 80 degrees Celsius. Steep one tea bag in 150-200 of water for 3 minutes. </p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-brewing-jpg.webp" alt="brewing green tea bag" class="wp-image-4137" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-brewing-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-brewing-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-brewing-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-brewing-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-brewing-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-brewing-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>It brews into a light-coloured tea with a delicate, but deep and rich scent of lemon. There&#8217;s absolutely no astringency and green tea serves as a perfect base for this tea. It&#8217;s not grassy, it&#8217;s not smoky, it&#8217;s just smooth and rich to carry all the flavours and combine them into a true <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/dessert-teas/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with dessert tea">dessert tea</a>.</p>

<p>Lemon Curd tea has a surprisingly delicate and refreshing flavour with gentle sweetness, zesty and creamy mouthfeel and a gentle lingering tartness of white hibiscus. It&#8217;s not overpowering, and yet it has a very rich flavour with incredible lightness.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-tea-green-jpg.webp" alt="lemon curd tea Fortnum &amp; Mason" class="wp-image-4141" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-tea-green-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-tea-green-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-tea-green-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-tea-green-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-tea-green-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/lemon-curd-tea-green-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>This tea doesn&#8217;t need any condiments, but both sugar and honey would be good for this tea.</p>

<p>Lemon Curd green tea would be perfect for tea drinkers that like the flavour of lemon and fruity teas. Although the base for this blend is a green tea, it&#8217;s very far from a typical pure green tea flavour. It&#8217;s delicate and light and would be great for tea drinkers that rarely drink green tea, because they don&#8217;t enjoy grassy or smoky flavours or don&#8217;t like the bitterness.</p>

<p>At £6.95, this tea has a lot of expectations to fulfil, and it fulfils all of them. It&#8217;s a blend that&#8217;s just perfect for special me-times, when you want to feel happy, relaxed and pampered. It&#8217;s delicious, unique, and most importantly, it really tastes like lemon curd.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in Banana Shake tea?</h2>

<p>Banana Shake is an herbal tea blend from <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/twist-teas/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Twist Teas">Twist Teas</a>, a tea company that&#8217;s all about flavours, quality and personality. Twist Teas has a whole range of intriguing blends (see <a href="https://allthattea.com/beetroot-acai-matcha-twist-teas/">Beetroot Acai Matcha</a> and <a href="https://allthattea.com/choffee-mint-tea-twist-teas/">Choffee Mint</a>), and, also important, an exceptional customer support. Twist Teas blends are available as loose tea and in pyramid corn silk bags, each containing 2.5 grams of tea. Tea bags are big enough to allow tea to fully expand, so you can enjoy the same flavour as when brewing loose tea.  </p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-jpg.webp" alt="banan shake tea bag" class="wp-image-4125" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-bag-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Banana Shake, an award-winning herbal blend, contains only a few natural ingredients &#8211; red <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/rooibos-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with rooibos tea">rooibos tea</a>, freeze-dried banana, sunflower petals and natural flavouring. It has a deep intense banana scent with deep and sweet notes of red rooibos tea. It smells very inviting. This is undoubtedly a red rooibos blend but crafted in a way to respect both key ingredients, with a personality of a <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/dessert-teas/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with dessert tea">dessert tea</a>.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to make this tea?</h2>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-rooibos-tea-jpg.webp" alt="brewing tea" class="wp-image-4124" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-rooibos-tea-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-rooibos-tea-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-rooibos-tea-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-rooibos-tea-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-rooibos-tea-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-rooibos-tea-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>What&#8217;s great about rooibos (and most rooibos blends) is that it&#8217;s very easy to brew. It&#8217;s one of the most forgiving teas out there. Even if you are new to tea brewing, with rooibos you&#8217;ll always get the best flavour no matter how you brew it. Bring fresh water to a boil and steep 1 tea bag in a cup of water for 5-10 minutes. Even if you steep it longer, it won&#8217;t become bitter.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-twist-teas-jpg.webp" alt="banana shake tea - Twist Teas" class="wp-image-4127" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-twist-teas-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-twist-teas-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-twist-teas-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-twist-teas-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-twist-teas-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-twist-teas-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Banana nots are light, but present in the scent, flavour and ever as an aftertaste. While this is predominantly a red rooibos tea, it&#8217;s definitely a <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/banana-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with banana tea">banana tea</a>, too. It feels very natural, very pleasant and easy to drink. Although you can drink it with no condiments, to get that proper banana shake experience, prepare it either as a latte, or add 10-20 ml of single cream or full cream <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/milk/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with milk">milk</a>.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-with-milk-jpg.webp" alt="rooibos tea with milk" class="wp-image-4126" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-with-milk-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-with-milk-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-with-milk-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-with-milk-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-with-milk-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/banana-shake-tea-with-milk-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Milk will mellow out the rooibos notes and bring out the milky banana shake flavour. This tea is light, and it doesn&#8217;t need any sweeteners as it&#8217;s naturally slightly sweet. However, if you do need a sweetener, light honey or regular white sugar are a good choice.</p>

<p>Banana Shake is great tea for afternoon me-time and soothing evening caffeine-free lattes. You&#8217;ll like it if you love red rooibos blends, even if you don&#8217;t like pure red rooibos tea. You&#8217;ll also enjoy it if you love bananas. It&#8217;s a light, but very tasty blend, and suitable for tea lovers that don&#8217;t like heavily flavoured teas.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in The Butler?</h2>

<p>Remember <a href="https://allthattea.com/vanilla-black-tea-the-pinup/">The Pinup</a>, a classic vanilla <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/black-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with black tea">black tea</a> with an alluring vanilla scent and flavour? It wasn&#8217;t only the quality black tea and vanilla pieces that made it so good. Calendula petals and jasmine flowers made it pretty, too. The Butler is following the same recipe – great Ceylon black tea leaves flavoured with natural bergamot flavour and a few carefully chosen ingredients – sunflower petals and lime leaves. &nbsp;</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-jpg.webp" alt="Tea and The Gang The Butler" class="wp-image-4086" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/the-butler-individual-tea-bag-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>It&#8217;s available in as loose tea in pyramid tea bags and pouches. Tea bags contain a very generous quantity of loose tea and enough space for tea leaves to expand. Although there&#8217;s a lot of difference between tea bags and loose tea, in this case, the only difference between loose tea and tea bags is the brewing method. Quality is the same for both. </p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>This tea has a very intense bergamot scent and a deep black tea base. It&#8217;s sharp and aromatic with a touch of sweetness. Freshness comes from Ceylon black tea, which is typically brisker and brighter than many other black teas.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What does it taste like?</h2>

<p>To make a cup of this tea, bring fresh water to a boil and steep 1 tea bag or 1 teaspoon of tea leaves in a cup of water for 3-4 minutes.</p>

<p>Even though the scent is very intense, it&#8217;s a very mellow tea. Bergamot is not overpowering, not dominant. It perfectly balances the black tea base and offers an unmistakable earl grey flavour. However, it may be good to pay attention to the brewing time, as over brewing may reveal some astringency.</p>

<p>Because of the fresher Sri Lankan black tea as the base, this tea is great for adding either <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/milk/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with milk">milk</a> or lemon. A splash of milk will mellow down any potential astringency and add a creamy touch, with an aromatic bergamot bottom note and a hint of lime leaves. This also makes it an excellent breakfast or afternoon tea. Honey is the best sweetener for this tea, especially if you add lemon. With milk, you could even avoid sweeteners as the milk itself will add enough natural sweetness. However, you don&#8217;t need to add any condiments, as this tea doesn&#8217;t really need any. </p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>This earl grey would be an amazing iced milk tea, hot earl grey lattes including London Fog, and it would be equally great for making iced teas with lemon. It&#8217;s a perfect choice for making earl grey based drinks.</p>

<p>It has just the right balance of bergamot and black tea. If you love traditional earl grey, you&#8217;ll like this tea too.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in Basilur Raspberry Infusion?</h2>

<p>Fruit teas are infusions made with dried fruit pieces and often some other herbal ingredients. They don&#8217;t contain any Camellia sinensis tea leaves, so they are technically not teas, but infusions. Some fruit teas are made only with fruit pieces, and many contain other herbal ingredients, too.</p>

<p>Basilur Raspberry Infusion contains hibiscus flower, orange peel, apple, stevia leaves, natural raspberry flavour and citric flavour. It comes in a classic, individually wrapped tea bags.</p>

<p>It smells sweet and deep, with a light, dusty note. Since hibiscus is the key ingredient, it&#8217;s also a dominant scent. Most fruity blends are made from one main ingredient, usually hibiscus or apple, secondary ingredients and flavourings. Although not a fruit, hibiscus is great for adding a deep crimson colour and unique deep and tart flavour. Another interesting ingredient in this tea is stevia, a natural sweetener with a distinctive sweet flavour and no calories. The first thought? This tea would be great for making iced or cold-brew tea.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-jpg.webp" alt="raspberry infusion steeping in a cup" class="wp-image-4026" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-fruit-raspberry-tea-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What does it taste like?</h2>

<p>To make a cup of fruit tea, use freshly boiled water and steep it for 5-10 minutes. Fruit teas will rarely get bitter, unless they contain lots of orange peel. This is mostly true for loose blends, rather than classic tea bags.</p>

<p>Once brewed, hibiscus gives it a pretty deep crimson colour. This tea smells like a rich hibiscus tea, with key notes of regular fruity teas that contain tart hibiscus. However, raspberry comes as an under flavour and really comes into a focus as an aftertaste. Raspberry scent is also pronounced, accompanied by an intense sweet note.</p>

<p>Basilur&#8217;s Raspberry infusion is a flavourful, strong and deep tea. It&#8217;s quite sweet but not sugary sweet. You can definitely feel that the sweetness is coming from an herbal ingredient rather than refined sugar. It has a light zesty note from hibiscus, and a light raspberry aftertaste. Raspberry is not an actual ingredient in this tea (which is often a case with raspberry flavoured teas, and the flavour is added with natural raspberry flavouring). This tea doesn&#8217;t need any sweeteners as it already contains stevia leaves. However, if you prefer very sweet teas, both honey and white sugar are a good choice.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-jpg.webp" alt="Basilur Raspberry Infusion" class="wp-image-4029" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/basilur-raspberry-tea-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Because of its strong flavour, this tea is a good choice for making iced teas. Steep it together with some fresh raspberries to give it a real raspberry punch.</p>

<p>Who would like this tea? If you enjoy strong and bold fruit teas with hibiscus, you&#8217;ll enjoy this tea too. If you are looking for a strong <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/raspberry-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with raspberry tea">raspberry tea</a>, this may not be the right infusion for you. That said, many raspberry teas are rather light in raspberry flavour, and mostly contain other ingredients including natural flavourings too.</p>

<p>Interestingly, the flavour is deep, and complex, even though it&#8217;s made with tiny particles. Because of its rich flavour, this tea is a great alternative to regular supermarket fruit teas.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in Basilur Jasmine Green Tea</h2>

<p>Classic jasmine green tea is made with Chinese green tea leaves, scented with fresh jasmine flowers. This process is repeated until the tea is fragrant enough, and all flowers are removed. Today, there are different ways of making jasmine green tea. Some blends may contain dried jasmin blossoms, other are flavoured with natural flavourings. Scenting and flavouring are different processes that result in different flavours as well.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-jpg.webp" alt="jasmine flavoured tea from Basilur" class="wp-image-3987" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-green-tea-jasmine-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>So what&#8217;s in Basilur Jasmine green tea? First, it&#8217;s made with Ceylon (Sri Lankan) green tea, rather than Chinese tea. Next, this tea is flavoured with a natural jasmine flavour, rather than scented. And you&#8217;ll see both things immediately upon opening the pouch.</p>

<p>The first thing you&#8217;ll notice is an intense sweet jasmine scent. There&#8217;s no deep smokiness like with many other jasmine green teas. Instead, it&#8217;s very sweet and floral, on the verge of being perfumy. As it is extremely strong, this scent may not be for everyone. However, it&#8217;s also extremely pleasant and inviting.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How does it taste?</h2>

<p>To make a cup of jasmine green tea, bring fresh water to a boil and let it cool down to 80-85 degrees Celsius. Use 1 heaped teaspoon or 1 tea bag per cup of water and steep for 2-3 minutes.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-jpg.webp" alt="steeping tea" class="wp-image-3989" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/basilur-jasmine-green-tea-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>This tea has a very perfumy flavour that feels sweet. There&#8217;s absolutely no bitterness at all in this tea. It feels very delicate, which is quite uncommon for jasmine green tea, especially tea bags. Classic tea bags contain dust and small leaf particles and often result in a bitter and strong infusion.</p>

<p>Green tea in this blend is light, and the jasmine flavour is lighter than the scent might suggest. However, it&#8217;s strong enough to serve it iced. It would be a perfect treat for spring and summer afternoon tea parties.</p>

<p>If you love the scent of jasmine, especially jasmine essential oils, rather than classic jasmine teas, you will love this tea, too. In fact, even if you don&#8217;t like classic jasmine teas, you may find this tea inviting. This tea would appeal to those that like strong flavours, but don&#8217;t like the bitterness common in jasmine green teas. It&#8217;s quite surprising for a jasmine green tea in a traditional tea bag not to have any bitterness at all. However, if you don&#8217;t like perfumy blends, you won&#8217;t like Basilur&#8217;s jasmine green tea, either.</p>

<p>Coconut and <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/green-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with green tea">green tea</a> make for a delicious pair. Coconut and <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/matcha/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with matcha">matcha</a>? Even better! Coconut matcha pre-mix from Tealyra is a Japanese matcha blend, pre-sweetened and created for fuss-free preparation.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in Coconut Matcha Pre-Mix?</h2>

<p>Coconut matcha pre-mix is a matcha tea with natural coconut flavouring and cane sugar. In fact, it contains a lot of sugar – 75% of this pre-mix is cane sugar, and 25% is organic Japanese matcha. That is perhaps one of the highest amounts of sugar in a pre-made matcha mix on the western market. This means, if you are using one teaspoon of mix per cup of water, you&#8217;ll be drinking 3 grams of sugar. Which is actually not that much at all – that is, if you like sweet drinks. For comparison, 1 packet of sugar or 1 sugar cube contain 4 grams of sugar each.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-jpg.webp" alt="coconut matcha pre-mix" class="wp-image-3982" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-powder-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>This blend contains caffeine too. However, the caffeine content of 1 teaspoon of this blend will b lower than a caffeine content of 1 teaspoon of pure matcha powder. Therefore, it may be a good choice if you want to reduce the caffeine intake.</p>

<p>Coconut matcha pre-mix smells super nice. There are a lot of green matcha notes coming through an intense creamy coconut scent and it smells very sweet. So, what&#8217;s good about pre-mix blends? They differ slightly from regular matcha powder, as you can use them straight from the pouch, with no need for sifting or extensive whisking. Plus, they usually already contain a sweetener.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-tealyra-jpg.webp" alt="pre-mix matcha blend" class="wp-image-3983" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-tealyra-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-tealyra-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-tealyra-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-tealyra-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-tealyra-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-matcha-tealyra-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to make this tea?</h2>

<p>The best way to make this tea is using hot water to dissolve it, then topping it up with cold water and serving with ice. This, however, doesn&#8217;t mean you can&#8217;t drink it hot. But when made with hot water, it will be a VERY sweet drink. For some tea drinkers, this may be just too much sweetness. &nbsp;</p>

<p>This matcha is not suitable for whisking because of a high sugar content, so it&#8217;s better to use an electric frother instead or simply shake it in a water bottle.</p>

<p>To make a cup of coconut matcha, use ½-1 teaspoon of powder and mix it with hot water at 80 degrees Celsius. To make matcha <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/milk/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with milk">milk</a> tea, use ½-1 teaspoon of tea powder, add 50-70 ml water and top up with cold milk or steamed and frothed milk.</p>

<p>We tried both and the best way is by far to drink it with milk:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>with frothed and steamed milk served as hot latte or plus ice as iced latte</li>

<li>topped with cold milk and served with ice as iced matcha milk tea</li>
</ul>

<p>Milk will reduce sweetness significantly, and it will feel like a completely different tea, leaving only coconut and matcha to dominate the blend.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s one of those teas you need to treat as a dessert, especially if you are using 2 rather than 1 teaspoon of pre-mix. Because the sugar content is so high, it may not be a suitable replacement for a pure matcha powder, especially if you love the pure unsweetened flavour of matcha.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-flavoured-matcha-jpg.webp" alt="iced coconut matcha" class="wp-image-3981" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-flavoured-matcha-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-flavoured-matcha-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-flavoured-matcha-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-flavoured-matcha-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-flavoured-matcha-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/coconut-flavoured-matcha-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Who may like this tea? If you prefer very sweet drinks, this is a tea for you. However, it&#8217;s not suitable for tea drinkers that want to drink matcha traditionally. It&#8217;s great for making lattes or iced milk teas. As a dessert blend served with milk and/or ice, it tastes delicious. It&#8217;s perfect for spring and summer garden tea parties, or even as an after-gym drink.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in Vanilla Matcha?</h2>

<p>Vanilla Matcha is a tea powder blended with Japanese matcha tea from Shizuoka and Madagascar vanilla. Shizuoka is the largest tea producing prefecture in Japan, however, most of the tea produced is sencha. Many matcha powders from Shizuoka that are available in western countries are of the culinary grade that are perfect for blending with other powders. Culinary grade matcha is typically used for baking or preparing different drinks.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-matcha-jpg.webp" alt="vanilla matcha tea Vahdam" class="wp-image-3969" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-matcha-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-matcha-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-matcha-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-matcha-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-matcha-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-matcha-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Vanilla Matcha powder from Vahdam is a culinary grade matcha too. It&#8217;s best used for non-traditional drinks, such as lattes, <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/iced/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with iced">iced</a> teas with or without <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/milk/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with milk">milk</a>, or for baking. This matcha has a beautiful vanilla scent that&#8217;s so strong it will fill the entire room. If you love the scent of vanilla, you&#8217;ll love this tea too. Another significant benefit is that it doesn&#8217;t contain any artificial or natural flavourings or colour, only pure powders. Powder itself is slightly darker and not as intensely green as most pure ceremonial grade matcha teas, however, it&#8217;s worth keeping in mind it&#8217;s blended with another powder. That said, vanilla powder will influence not only the flavour, but the colour too.  </p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to prepare Vanilla Matcha?</h2>

<p>You can use flavoured matcha powders for making different drinks such as hot or cold lattes or iced teas. Although you can prepare this powder traditionally, it won&#8217;t froth so much when using a chasen. In that case, an electric hand frother may be a better option. It will create lots of foam that won&#8217;t disappear so fast.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-jpg.webp" alt="Vahdam matcha" class="wp-image-3971" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Vanilla Matcha is an unsweetened tea that feels sweet because of vanilla. It has a wonderful balance of <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/green-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with green tea">green tea</a> bitterness and vanilla sweetness and is great for tea drinkers that want something a bit different, but still with no natural or artificial flavourings.</p>

<p>The best way to use it is perhaps for making matcha lattes or boba teas. Prepared with full fat milk, it will offer just the right amount of sweetness. If you enjoy sweeter teas, some honey or regular sugar are a wonderful choice.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-green-tea-jpg.webp" alt="matcha vanilla " class="wp-image-3972" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-green-tea-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-green-tea-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-green-tea-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-green-tea-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-green-tea-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/vahdam-vanilla-matcha-green-tea-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Since vanilla matcha from Vahdam is blended with culinary grade matcha, it&#8217;s better for baking or making lattes than for preparing tea traditionally. However, this doesn&#8217;t mean you can&#8217;t enjoy it pure.  </p>

<p>Vanilla is quite dominant in this blend, blending nicely with bitter and green taste of this matcha powder. It&#8217;s not as vibrant, sweet or complex as some ceremonial grades Japanese matcha teas, but it has a perfect amount of sweetness, matcha grassiness and an incredible vanilla aroma.</p>

<p>This is a great tea if you want to include matcha into your tea routine but can&#8217;t quite get used to the matcha flavour. It&#8217;s also amazing for lattes or different desserts. And if you love vanilla, you will absolutely love it.</p>

<p>A cup of tea is always a good idea, especially if it can help you relax and peacefully doze off. <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/t2/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with T2">T2</a> Sleep Tight tea contains three aromatic herbal ingredients, perfect for evening sipping.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in T2 Sleep Tight blend?</h2>

<p>Sleep Tight blend is a very simple but aromatic blend. It&#8217;s blended with lemon balm, lavender and rose petals, all of them popular for their calming and relaxing properties. It contains 91% of lemon balm, and the rest are lavender and rose petals.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-blend-jpg.webp" alt="T2 sleep tight tea" class="wp-image-3847" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-blend-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-blend-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-blend-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-blend-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-blend-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-blend-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>If you&#8217;re not really a lemon balm lover, this blend may really surprise you. It&#8217;s aromatic, super pleasant, without that strong unique lemon balm scent. In fact, none of the ingredients dominates the blend. Instead, they blend into a deep and rich herbal scent with light minty notes and hints of floral dusky rose and soft lavender.</p>

<p>All these ingredients have traditionally been used for their relaxing properties. Lavender is a very common herb in aromatherapy, commonly used for its potential anxiolytic, sedative and antidepressant properties (1). Pure lavender teas may sometimes have a very strong flavour, but when blended properly, lavender will never overpower the blend. Lemon balm or sometimes simply called melissa (Melissa officinalis L.), on the other hand, if quite often used in relaxing sleepy time supplements. Studies suggest it may not only promote better sleep but reduce anxiety as well (2). Rose petals are the third ingredient in this blend. They are commonly used in tea blending, both for flavour and appearance. However, they too may provide several benefits, including improving the quality of sleep (3).</p>

<p>All the ingredients are caffeine free. T2 Sleep Tight tea is available as loose leaf and in <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/tea-bags/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with tea bags">tea bags</a>.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What does it taste like? &nbsp;</h2>

<p>To make a cup of Sleep Tight tea, use freshly boiled water and steep one to two teaspoons in a cup of water for 5 minutes.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-tea-jpg.webp" alt="herbal tea" class="wp-image-3850" style="width:550px" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-tea-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-tea-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-tea-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-tea-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-tea-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/sleep-tight-tea-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>When brewed, the scent changes completely. Flavour is light, lemony, with hints of lavender. Both rose and lavender are light in this blend, and you may like them even if you typically don&#8217;t like rose or lavender teas. This is predominately a <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/lemon-balm-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with lemon balm tea">lemon balm tea</a>. And here&#8217;s the best part. Lemon balm has a very specific flavour that you&#8217;ll either like or dislike (lemon grass is quite similar – you either like it or hate it). It&#8217;s less minty than mint teas and much more herbaceous with a somewhat lemony note. Most lemon balm teas are heavy and often overwhelming, especially if you make them from pure lemon balm leaves. Sleep Tight is totally different. It&#8217;s quite light, not bitter, and very easy to drink. This tea would go well with honey. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Who may like this tea? If you love herbal aromatic caffeine free blends, you will probably enjoy this tea too. It&#8217;s much less herbaceous than a typical herbal blend and extremely pleasant to drink.</p>

<p>What would a breakfast be, without a proper cup of breakfast tea? While the traditional breakfast blends are crafted to offer a strong flavour that goes well with <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/milk/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with milk">milk</a> and will usually have a very similar flavour profile regardless of the brand, creative blends are a whole different story. The only thing they often have in common with traditional blends is that they are usually strong enough to be served with milk. Singapore Breakfast is one of the most unusual breakfast tea blends out there.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What&#8217;s in Singapore Breakfast tea?</h2>

<p>This Singapore breakfast tea comes from <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/t2/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with T2">T2</a>, a tea company with a whole range of unique and flavourful blends. This blend is one of rare blends that contain <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/pandan/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with pandan">pandan</a> flavour. It&#8217;s made with pu&#8217;erh <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/black-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with black tea">black tea</a>, genmaicha <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/green-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with green tea">green tea</a>, coconut chips, pandan and other flavourings. This tea contains approximately the same amounts of pu&#8217;erh and <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/genmaicha-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with genmaicha tea">genmaicha tea</a>, which is quite an unusual combination. Pu&#8217;erh is strong, bold, and earthy, but it&#8217;s not bitter. Genmaicha is not a bitter tea either. It&#8217;s toasty and nutty, with lighter fresh green tea notes.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-jpg.webp" alt="Singapore breakfast loose tea" class="wp-image-3853" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-jpg.webp 1024w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-300x200.webp 300w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-768x512.webp 768w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-450x300.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-225x150.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-900x600.webp 900w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-20x13.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-loose-tea-144x96.webp 144w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>This tea smells nothing short of intriguing. It&#8217;s a mix of intense creamy coconut and sweet and distinct pandan, blended into a toasty and earthy tea base. There&#8217;s a light ripe pu&#8217;erh, toasty genmaicha and creamy coconut and pandan scents. It smells deep and warming.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What does Singapore Breakfast taste like?</h2>

<p>To make a cup of T2 Singapore Breakfast tea, bring fresh water to a boil, let it cool down to 90 degrees Celsius and steep one heaped teaspoon of tea leaves for 3 minutes. Both pu&#8217;erh and genmaicha can be re-steeped, so keep the infusion time at 3 minutes if you want to use the same tea leaves twice.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img decoding="async" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-T2-jpg.webp" alt="breakfast tea" class="wp-image-3854" style="width:550px" width="550" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-T2-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-T2-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-T2-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-T2-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-T2-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-T2-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Brewed tea smells exactly like dry leaves, only a bit softer. Flavour is different from any other breakfast tea out there. All ingredients add to the flavour and create a very unique experience. At the same time, you can taste them all separately. There&#8217;s a toasty genmaicha green tea flavour, unique pandan flavour, creamy coconut and deep and earthy pu&#8217;erh. Singapore Breakfast tastes more like genmaicha than pu&#8217;erh, so this tea may appeal even to tea drinkers that don&#8217;t like the earthy ripe dark teas. It&#8217;s slightly sweet and doesn&#8217;t need any sweeteners. However, if you always add a sweetener to your breakfast tea, brown sugar would be a brilliant choice.</p>

<p>Just like any proper breakfast blend, you can add milk to this tea, too. Rather than adding regular milk, try it with a splash of condensed milk. Condensed milk will enhance the coconut flavour and creaminess.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img decoding="async" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-with-milk-jpg.webp" alt="pu'erh, genmaicha, coconut and pandan tea " class="wp-image-3856" style="width:550px" width="550" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-with-milk-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-with-milk-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-with-milk-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-with-milk-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-with-milk-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/singapore-breakfast-with-milk-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure></div>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Who will like this tea?</h2>

<p>Although it contains pu&#8217;erh tea, this is not a pu&#8217;reh tea. It&#8217;s a very unique blend that can&#8217;t really be compared to any other breakfast tea. Perhaps, the most prominent flavour is pandan, and although it&#8217;s far from dominating, it does give a unique character to this tea. You will like this tea if you like toasty notes, black teas with honey, nuts or coconut, even if you don&#8217;t like genmaicha or pu&#8217;erh. It&#8217;s lighter than pu&#8217;erh, but stronger than genmaicha. This is a medium bodied tea, lighter than regular breakfast blends or pu&#8217;erh teas but strong enough to be served with milk.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Singapore Breakfast is one of the most interesting breakfast blends we&#8217;ve ever tried. However, if you are looking for a traditional cup of breakfast tea, this is not a tea for you. You may not enjoy it if you don&#8217;t like strong flavours or intensely flavoured teas. But if you like unusual flavours, enjoy genmaicha and pandan flavour, you may like this tea too.</p>
