Giddy Up Buttercup contains black tea, sunflower and calendula petals and natural flavourings. It's intended to be more buttery than your average vanilla blend. Sunflower and calendula petals make this blend really pretty and elegant. This tea smells sweet, deep, with buttery vanilla note. Vanilla doesn't overpower the deep black tea notes, it's incorporated into the tea base and adds deep sweetness instead.
What does Giddy Up Buttercup taste like?
To make a cup of Giddy Up Buttercup tea, steep one teaspoon of tea leaves in a cup of freshly boiled water for 3 minutes. This is a strong and brisk tea that may turn bitter if you over-steep it. Therefore, if you prefer strong flavours or want to use it for latte, use more tea leaves rather than increased steeping time.
Brewed tea has an uncommonly pretty orange-red colour that's translucent with no murkiness. It has a dose of freshness, vanilla buttery notes and a bit of light smokiness.
