These days, dessert teas are not quite what they used to be. What was once considered a dessert tea was a tea of a higher quality and complex aromatic flavour that was usually saved for special occasions. And it was often pure, made only from Camellia sinensis leaves, rather than a flavoured blend. Today, however, dessert teas are blends that actually taste like desserts. Here comes Sticky Date Delight from T2, a sticky toffee pudding dessert caffeine-free tea that’s just perfect for cool autumn days.

What’s in Sticky Date Delight?

An inspiration for Sticky Date Delight came from a sticky toffee pudding, a yummy dessert made of a sponge cake, toffee sauce and dates. This tea actually contains dates (and figs) which are not at all common in tea blends. It’s blended with red rooibos tea, chicory, caramel pieces, figs, dates, marigold petals and flavourings. And it smells gorgeous. It’s sweet, deep, with hints of earthy rooibos.

Rooibos tea has a distinctive scent, which you’ll either love or hate. However, in some rooibos teas that scent and flavour are blended in a way it offers a perfect tea base, rather than a dominant scent/flavour. Sticky Date Delight is definitely one of those teas.

It’s sweet, but none of the ingredients are dominating the scent. Instead, they all give this delicious, sweet dessert note with deep caramel notes.

How to make this sticky toffee pudding tea?

Rooibos is one of the easiest teas to brew. It will never get bitter even if you oversteep it and you can use boiling water. Simply use 1 heaped teaspoon of tea per cup of boiling water and steep for 5-10 minutes. If you want to maximise the flavour, add a teaspoon more.

This really is a beautiful rooibos tea. There’s a deep, subtle earthy rooibos note, elevated by all the sweet flavours: hints of caramel and hints of date sweetness. However, this is not a date tea. It’s a rooibos tea where all ingredients blend into a sweet and unique flavour. To make a proper tea treat, add milk, coffee creamer or use it for making a latte. Milk will elevate the caramel notes, and adding some brown sugar will intensify the sweetness.

Although flavourful, this is a light tea, so it’s great for drinking pure as well.

Who would like this sticky toffee pudding tea? This tea is great for tea drinkers that like caramel and rooibos teas, and sweet blends, or if you enjoy drinking tea with milk or cream. You may like it even if you don’t like pure rooibos teas.

What’s in Packs a Peach?

Packs a Peach, fruity peach tea blend from T2 is blended with apple pieces, papaya, sweet blackberry leaves, roasted chicory root, peach, white hibiscus, marigold petals, citric acid and flavourings. That’s a lot of ingredients for a peach tea, but all are there for a reason. It’s a caffeine-free tea suitable for any time of the day.

Scent of dry tea is super nice, sweet, peachy, fruity and intense with a hint of papaya, apple and hibiscus. What’s interesting is that scents of all ingredients are there, but overall, it smells peachy.

One of the most interesting ingredients is perhaps white hibiscus, an ingredient that’s far less common than purple hibiscus. It adds the same tangy flavour, without changing the colour of tea. Roasted chicory root is often used as a caffeine-free substitute for coffee. In tea blends, it adds body and earthy, velvety notes. And last, apple, papaya and peach all give fruity notes, while sweet blackberry leaves are there for natural sweetness. It really sounds like a peach, doesn’t it?

What does T2 Peach tea taste like?

To make a cup of tea, use 1-2 heaped teaspoon of loose tea per cup of boiling water and steep for 5-10 minutes.

The scent of brewed tea is even more peachy than the scent of dry tea. It is naturally quite a sweet tea that doesn’t need any sweeteners. Packs a peach has a light zestiness from hibiscus, fruity and rich peachy velvety flavour and it leaves a very strong peachy aftertaste. It has a lot of depth, which many fruit teas may lack. Being a strong ingredient, hibiscus usually adds a lot of zestiness, but in this tea is adds just enough to balance out the sweetness.

Packs a peach is quite intense, deep, velvety and fruity. Because of the intensity, it would be great for making tea caviar or for using in desserts such as jellies or tea syrups. It’s also perfect for making iced tea. If you want to make an iced tea, don’t cold brew it as it will never get as intense. Use hot water instead and add ice. Flavour is very intense, so a teaspoon will be enough to get a very flavourful iced tea.

This tea is an amazing choice for tea drinkers that prefer bold and strong flavours, naturally sweet teas and peach and tropical flavours.

Today, many brands are offering special cold brew blends designed to steep in less than 10 minutes – no boiling water required. Pink Grapefruit Teapigs cold brew tea is one of those blends. What does it taste like?

What are Teapigs Cold Brew blends?

Teapigs cold brew blends are blends for brewing in cold water. One pyramid tea bag is enough to make up to 500 ml of tea, depending on the desired strength. Unlike traditional tea bags, pyramid tea bags, or tea temples, contain loose leaf tea rather than tea dust. Teapigs cold brew range includes 6 different fruity summer flavours:

Pink Grapefruit

Lychee and Rose

Cucumber and Apple

Blackcurrant and Raspberry

Watermelon and Hibiscus

Peach and Mango

All of them are caffeine free.

What’s in Pink Grapefruit cold brew tea?

Pink Grapefruit is not a typical flavour in tea blends. This citrus is very different from the typical zesty lemon, sweet orange or sweet and sour lime. With a slight bitterness, less sourness than lemons, and a beautiful pink-orange colour, it’s a great flavour for summer iced teas and cold brews.

Grapefruit Teapigs cold brew tea contains apple pieces, white hibiscus, sweet blackberry leaves, red hibiscus, grapefruit peel, citric acid, and natural grapefruit and other natural flavourings. Each tea temple is individually wrapped to preserve freshness, but this also makes it great for travelling.

The best way to brew Teapigs Cold Brew Pink Grapefruit tea

Teapigs tea bags contain loose ingredients, rather than dust. However, they will need more time to brew, even though the particles are smaller than regular loose tea.

Recommended time for steeping this tea is 5+ minutes in cold water. When using cold water for brewing tea, always make sure you are using odourless fresh water, as cold brewed teas have a less intense scent than hot brewed teas. Using fresh will really make a difference.

While the recommended steeping time is 5 minutes, this tea is best steeped slightly longer. If you want to intensify the flavour, you can also use a slightly hotter water and add ice, or cold-brew it overnight.

It has a very light pink-orange colour and light pink grapefruit flavour with very light zestiness. Although it contains apples and hibiscus, they are not dominating the blend. It’s a quite light but refreshing tea, with light grapefruit flavour. It doesn’t need any sweeteners, as adding too much would overpower the flavour.

Who would like this tea? If you love light fruity flavours, or fruit infused water, you’ll like this tea too. It’s much lighter than a cup of traditional fruit tea. This blend is great for a daily sipping as it doesn’t contain sugars or caffeine. You can use it instead of water or even soda.

What is green rooibos?

Green rooibos is made from the South African Aspalathus linearis plant, just like red rooibos or red bush tea. Rooibos is very similar to the real tea. There are green and red types, similar to green and black tea. Red rooibos goes really well with milk, just like black tea, and green rooibos is better served without milk, just like green tea. And then, there’s the flavour. Red rooibos is earthy and rich, while the green rooibos has a flavour similar to green tea, but without the grassiness.

Because of its similarity with real teas and a versatile flavour, rooibos often serves as a base for caffeine-free flavoured herbal blends.

But unlike real teas, rooibos, both green and red, will never become bitter, no matter how long you steep them for. And they are both caffeine free. If you don’t like the flavour of red rooibos, don’t automatically dismiss this type. The flavour is very different, and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Tick Tock Organic Green Rooibos

Although this tea type is available from specialised tea shops, it’s not as readily available in supermarkets or in tea bags. Tick Tock is for sure changing that, by offering both options that can be found not only online, but in Tesco and Waitrose too.

Loose leaf green rooibos loose similar to red rooibos, except, it’s yellow-greenish. Dry leaves have a less intense scent too, not as earthy but more herbaceous and much more neutral. You will need to use a fine-mesh strainer or a disposable tea filter for making this tea. This herbal tea has very small, fine leaves, which makes it very difficult to brew in many infuser mugs or teapots with a built-in strainer.

What does it taste like?

To make a cup of tea, you’ll need 1-2 teaspoons of tea leaves and a cup of water. Steep it for 5-10 minutes in boiling water.

This tea tastes like a mellow green tea, but with absolutely no bitterness. Just like red rooibos, it cannot get bitter no matter how long you steep it for. Flavour is slightly earthy, with hints of boiled greens. Since there’s no bitterness, only a very pleasant flavour, you don’t need to add any condiments.

The best way to drink it is pure, hot or cold. You can also use it as a very neutral base for making iced teas and blend it with other ingredients. As a base tea, it will give colour and depth, but it will be quite neutral and capable of carrying different flavours – from zesty to sweet, even spicy.

If you love green teas or want to find a mild tasting herbal tea with no caffeine, this herbal tea is a great tea to try.

This Butterfly pea flower tea with popping boba ticks all the boxes. Plus, it’s easy to make and 100% caffeine free so you can enjoy it any time of the day.

Learn what is butterfly pea tea and how to make this delicious boba tea at home.

What is butterfly pea tea?

Butterfly pea tea or a blue tea is tea made from dried flowers of Clitoria ternatea plant. When brewed, these flowers give a beautiful blue infusion that’s unlike any other tea. While these flowers have a quite intense scent that may not appeal to all tea drinkers, they have a quite neutral taste. Plus, they are really versatile and go well with either milk or citruses. But what’s really special about blue tea is that once you change the pH value by adding citruses, the colour will change into purple. The more acidity you add, the more purple the colour will be.

Butterfly pea flowers are caffeine free, which makes them perfect for making refreshing summer drinks.

Ingredients for making Butterfly Pea Tea Boba

Butterfly pea flowers: Butterfly pea flowers are sold in tea shops and Amazon. However, not all are the same. With this ingredient, it really pays off to choose quality over price. Lower quality flowers may not always produce a beautiful blue colour.

Pomegranate: Although you can use a store-bought sugar free pomegranate juice, we recommend making it yourself. You’ll only need 3 tablespoons of fresh pomegranate seeds, a blender and a cheesecloth to strain it.

Lime: Fresh lime juice will add more complexity and distinct zestiness. It’s less sour than lemon, so don’t use lemons instead. Lychee popping boba: Popping boba pearls are available from many Asian stores and go super nice with this drink. Popping pearls are filled with liquid and will burst ones you bite into them. They are a wonderful topping for refreshing boba drinks. You can use pomegranate or raspberry popping pearls instead of lychee.

Sugar: You will need to add a sweetener to balance out the zestiness. Regular granulated sugar will work the best with this drink. Dissolve it in the hot tea, before adding ice. Alternatively, use a lighter honey.

Steps for making the drink

Make the tea: Start with bringing fresh water to a boil. Use about 10-12 dried flowers per cup of water. You can add a bit more or a bit less water, depending on your serving glass. Steep it for 5-7 minutes, or until you achieve a beautiful blue colour. Strain the tea into a clean, empty serving glass. Since butterfly pea flowers are quite big and often unbroken, you can also simply remove them with a clean teaspoon or a fork. Add sugar now because it will dissolve easier in hot tea. Add lots of ice.

Prepare pomegranate juice: Use blender to blend about 3 heaped tablespoons of pomegranate seeds. Strain the juice into a serving glass with butterfly pea flower tea. You will get about 5 teaspoons of pure pomegranate juice.

Add lime and pooping boba: Squeeze in lime juice and add popping boba pearls. Stir and serve.

Less than a decade ago, a dessert teas was a refined high quality unflavoured or flavoured tea enjoyed on special occasions. But today, there’s a whole new world of dessert teas that are inspired by actual desserts. Not only do they taste like the real treats, but they are also calorie free and may provide many benefits. Plum Tart, a caffeine-free dessert tea from Biscuit & Brew Tea House is both super pretty and super delicious.

What is Plum Tart?

Plum Tart tea blend from Biscuit & Brew Tea House (formerly Arthur Dove), is a caffeine-free herbal tea blend inspired by a delicious sweet and zesty plum tart with a hint of cinnamon. The base of this tea is rich and earthy red rooibos tea (Aspalathus linearis). Red rooibos comes from South Africa, and unlike other teas, it’s not grown on other continents or even in other countries. With its rich, earthy, and full-bodied flavour, red rooibos tea makes a perfect base for Plum Tart blend.

© All That Tea

This blend also contains elderberries, cinnamon, hibiscus, apple pieces, rosehip and natural flavouring. Plum Tart smells delicious – deep, fruity, intense, with prominent red rooibos base mixed with fruity richness, hints of cinnamon and juicy zestiness.

How does it taste?

One of the great things about rooibos tea is that it’s perfect for busy tea drinkers because it will never become bitter, even if you steep it for 30 minutes or longer. The flavour profile won’t change either, and it will taste delicious cold too.

To make a perfect cup of Plum Tart tea, steep 2 teaspoons of tea leaves in a cup of freshly boiled water for 5-10 minutes. It steeps into a deep red-brown tea, with a delicious intense scent of a sweet and juicy fruit tart. It’s extremely flavourful and rich, with notes of cinnamon and hibiscus. There’s enough of natural sweetness and flavour, so it’s great without a sweetener. If you want to make it sweeter, brown sugar would be a perfect choice. This tea is best without milk.

© All That Tea

If you are looking for a delicious late evening tea, Plum Tart is naturally caffeine free and won’t interfere with your sleep. This tea blend is great for tea lovers that enjoy rich and sweet fruity and berry blends and want to enjoy the benefits of red rooibos tea. If you love intense fruity flavours and hibiscus and rosehips teas, this blend is an amazing choice.

Do you want to reduce caffeine intake or avoid it completely? Feeling a bit lost on which teas to choose? Should you stick to caffeine-free teas? Or do decaf teas sound like a good option? Are caffeine-free teas and decaf teas the same thing? Decaf vs caffeine-free teas – which should you choose?

Let’s first explain the difference.

What are caffeine-free teas?

Caffeine-free teas are all teas that are naturally caffeine free. This means, if you were to harvest and dry yourself, you wouldn’t need to do anything to remove the caffeine.

All real teas come from the Camellia sinensis plant, and they all naturally contain caffeine. All other teas – tisanes – may or may not be naturally caffeinated. Most tisanes are naturally caffeine free and only some will contain caffeine. Some of the naturally caffeinated plants are South American yerba mate, guayusa, yaupon, cocoa bean, guarana, etc.

All real teas – white, yellow, green, oolong, black and dark will contain caffeine. Almost all tisanes (that is, non-Camellia sinensis) will be naturally caffeine-free. And only some tisanes will contain caffeine.

What are decaf teas?

Decaf teas are real teas made from Camellia sinensis plant that went through a process of decaffeination which removes a naturally occurring caffeine from the tea leaf. Caffeinated tisanes are usually not available as decaf teas. All non-caffeinated tisanes are simply called (caffeine-free) tisanes, rather than decaf tisanes. If you see a word decaf, it will imply there were decaffeination processes involved when making a certain tea.

So why would you want to remove caffeine from Camellia sinensis tea leaves and not from other caffeinated plants? Why is there no such thing as decaf guayusa or decaf guarana? There are many answers to this question.

Decaf vs caffeine-free teas – differences

First, Camellia sinensis is a cultural drink, same as coffee is. It’s a healthy drink too, that may offer an entire array of benefits that differ from benefits of tisanes.

1. Health benefits

Potential health benefits of real teas will differ from potential health benefits of tisanes. All real teas will offer similar benefits, with some differences among different types. However, every tisane will have its own traditional use and a distinct set of potential benefits.

There are different methods of removing caffeine from tea leaves. Some methods will impact catechins more than the others and may significantly reduce the total catechin content in tea leaves. This means that the potential benefits will be lower too.

For example, green tea enjoys a reputation of a healthy drink because of a high catechin content and black tea is mostly a cultural drink. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that black tea is more commonly decaffeinated than green. Decaf oolong is more difficult to find, and decaf white tea is quite an exception. Some studies suggest decaffeination may significantly reduce catechins from tea leaves (1).

Since there is no decaffeination process involved with tisanes, the content of beneficial compounds will stay the same.

Should this be of a concern if you are drinking tea mainly for benefits? Yes, and no, as the total amount of catechins extracted from tea leaves will depend on many factors. Your decaf tea may have more catechins that some other non-decaf tea, and vice versa. It’s still good to know which decaf process was used as some techniques are better (and healthier) than others.

Let’s get back to the previous example. A native Amazonian plant, guarana, has 4 times more caffeine than coffee bean (2). And that’s exactly its main purpose — to provide energy. Guarana is rich in catechins and may provide other benefits too, but because of its bitter flavour, it tastes better when mixed with other ingredients or as a supplement. Coffee is bitter too, and there is still decaf coffee out there. That’s because coffee is a world-wide cultural and social drink, just like Camellia sinensis tea, which is not the case with guarana.

2. Flavour differences

The process of decaffeination may change the flavour of tea and some decaf teas may taste blander. Maybe you heard that decaf coffee and teas taste bland, and that could be correct. A study on sensory characteristics of decaf green teas showed that even the most favourable CO2 decaffeination method will impact the flavour (3). The final flavour will depend on the process of decaffeination and tea processing techniques. But if you were to do a blind tasting and didn’t know which tea types you are trying, there’s a high chance you wouldn’t be able to tell its decaf or not.

Flavour is also a reason for decaffeinating Camellia sinensis teas. For example, many tea drinkers drink black tea only because of its flavour and robustness, and tisanes with a naturally occurring caffeine for its energy boosting benefits or cultural importance, rather than just flavour.

Just like all non-decaf teas, all decaf teas will taste differently. This means that even if you don’t like the flavour of one decaf tea, another decaf tea may taste completely different.

3. Number of types

Not all real teas are available in a decaf style, and if you have a specific preference, you may struggle to find the perfect tea. The most commonly decaffeinated teas are black Assam teas, more rarely green teas, and other tea types are almost never available in a decaf style.

That’s because the decaffeination process is usually used for black teas. Another reason is that black teas are the more robust, and they contain the highest amount of caffeine. There are thousands of different caffeine-free teas out there – from common chamomile, mint and rose, to more uncommon types such as chrysanthemum, island moss or elderberry flower tea.

© All That Tea

Limited choice doesn’t mean that there aren’t hundreds of decaf teas out there. On the contrary – there are hundreds of good decaf teas available today. This simply meant that only some types of teas, like Assam, Darjeeling, English Breakfast, Mao Feng and Sencha, are available in a decaf style. Rare teas, like Dan Cong oolong or Rizhao green tea, are unlikely to be decaffeinated.

4. Caffeine content

Words decaf and caffeine free may sound alike, but one is not 100% caffeine free. If you really want to avoid ALL caffeine, then caffeine-free teas are a better choice than decaf teas. There’s no such thing as a caffeine-free decaf tea. All decaf teas will contain some caffeine, but that amount will usually be very low, less than a few milligrams per cup.

Some non-decaf caffeinated Camellia sinensis tea leaves may naturally contain a lower amount of caffeine. If you don’t mind a bit of caffeine, try roasted green teas and teas with larger unbroken leaves made from mature plant material. If you are looking for tea with a naturally low caffeine content, Japanese kyobancha and roasted kukicha are both wonderful choices.

There may be a potential advantage of choosing naturally low over decaf teas. For example, no solvents were used to reduce the caffeine content – this happened naturally. Teas that are naturally lower in caffeine are usually made from more mature tea leaves and often roasted.

5. Cultural importance

Rarely any tisane will have such a huge cultural importance as Camellia sinensis teas. Many countries, including China, India, Japan, Morocco, Turkey, and England, have a strong tea culture which includes Camellia sinensis tea. You simply can’t replace an English Breakfast tea blend with a cup of chamomile tea – but you can replace a regular caffeinated blend with a decaf one and still enjoy the (same) flavour. The most readily available decaf teas are teas that are the most popular — pure Assam, English breakfast blends, green Chinese sencha and gunpowder tea and Indian Darjeeling tea. Although rare teas are not usually available in a decaf style, it doesn’t mean that they don’t have a cultural importance. They do, but they are mostly a choice of tea connoisseurs, rather than simply a daily beverage.

© All That Tea

Decaf vs Caffeine Free teas recap

Now, when you know the difference between decaf vs caffeine free teas, you can make an informed choice that suits your needs and preferences. If you want to avoid caffeine completely, choose caffeine-free teas, as all decaf teas will contain at least a few milligrams of caffeine per cup. However, all other factors such as flavour and health benefits will solely depend on the tea, not on the type. Both real teas and tisanes may provide many benefits, and many delicious flavours.

The best cup of tea is the one you thoroughly enjoy, and will offer some benefits too, regardless of if they are emotional, physical or social.

There’s a good reason lemon and ginger are cool seasons favourites. Luckily, you don’t need to make a cup of tea from a scratch to enjoy a great flavour. There are many pre-made tea blends out there that are just as delicious as a cup of homemade tea.

What is Lemon and Ginger tea?

Most commonly, lemon and ginger tea is an infusion of fresh or dry ginger and lemons. But Field. Work. Tea Lemon and Ginger tea is not a typical blend. It’s made with lemongrass rather than lemon, dry ginger, fennel seeds and liquorice root, giving it a great balance of sweetness, spiciness and freshness. There aren’t any additional flavourings in this blend, only pure ingredients. Lemongrass is an herb that’s often used for cooking, and it has a different flavour to lemons. It’s less citrusy, and more herbaceous, with lighter and delicate taste.

© All That Tea

Field. Work. Tea. is a brand from Modern Standard Coffee, a company dedicated to offering coffee and tea with focus on all aspects of the production – from field to the cup. Modern Standard Coffee is a member of 1% for the planet organization whose members give at least 1% of their revenue to help deal with environmental issues.

Checking the ingredients list before choosing your tea will help you get an idea what one tea might taste like and which benefits it may offer.

So, what’s good about this tea? All ingredients in this blend may offer soothing and digestive benefits with great flavour, and no need to add any sweeteners. Dry ginger is less spicy than fresh ginger, and it’s a brilliant choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of ginger without the extra spiciness. This herbal tea is available in both regular envelope tea bags and pyramid tea bags. It’s caffeine free, and suitable for any time of the day or night.

How to make Lemon and Ginger tea?

What’s great about pyramid tea bags is that you can enjoy the benefits of loose tea without the need of brewing equipment. All you need is a kettle and a cup. Steep it for 3 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius. Lemon and ginger tea has a beautiful light green-yellow colour and a delicate scent. It’s a light tea, perfect for office sipping that won’t get bitter as it cools down. It has a very clean taste, with a perfect balance of sweetness, lemony scent and warming ginger. This herbal tea doesn’t need any condiments, but you can add a few drops of fresh lemon juice and still maintain the balance of other ingredients. Another advantage is that you can re-steep it once, which is not common with herbal teas.

© All That Tea

Some teas can bring out the widest smiles. And with some teas, even your personal flavour or type preferences don’t matter. Is Lemon Waffle tea from Bruu one of them?

What is Lemon Waffle?

Lemon Waffle is an herbal and fruity tea from a UK based tea subscription company Bruu. It comes in a beautiful packaging, with a little card with simple brewing instructions and details attached with a small clip. Bruu has been around for quite a few years, with a mission to offer a better tasting tea. Lemon Waffle is indeed, different.

Let’s start with the ingredients. Packaging states that ingredients in this blend are sourced from Costa Rica. They include apple pieces, pineapple pieces, lemon verbena, cream caramel pieces, freeze-dried lemon granules, sweet blackberry leaves, marigold blossoms and flavouring.

© All That Tea

Lemon Waffle is caffeine free, but it does contain milk and sugar. Something to keep in mind if you want or need to avoid them because of allergies or personal preferences.

This herbal tea is a very pretty blend. It looks playful and colourful, lemony and cheerful. If you love lemony sweets, this blend will win you over as soon as you open a pouch. It’s sweet and intense and reminds incredibly of lemony caramels.

Usually, intense scents don’t always imply intense flavours, and that’s ok. So how does Lemon Waffle taste like?

© All That Tea

How to brew this blend?

To brew it, use one heaped teaspoon of leaves per cup of water, steeped at 98 degrees Celsius. The colour of brewed tea is as nice and the blend itself – beautiful yellow. You don’t feel any of the ingredients separately, there’s no intense apple, there’s no intense lemon, there’s no intense pineapple. Lemon Waffle is slightly sweet, with a buttery undertone, and a lemony touch. It offers a well rounded flavour, and a desire to have a cup more.

Although this tea is great hot, try it iced. You can add a tiny bit of honey and a few sliced fresh lemons too.

Who is likely to love this tea? Tea drinkers that enjoy strong flavours, lemony and fruity blends and don’t mind their tea being sweet and intense. It would be great for summer tea parties when you need a flavourful, caffeine free tea that’s easy to brew and tastes good even when it cools down.

There’s something about strawberry laces that can transfer you straight back into childhood. Fun, sour, pretty and packed with strawberry flavour, Strawberry Laces fruit tea was crafted to offer the same indulgence as the real sweets, but sugar-free.

Did it succeed?

What’s Strawberry Laces tea?

Strawberry Laces fruit tea blend contains strawberries, kiwi, apple, blueberry, hibiscus, rosehip, orange peel, fruit flavouring. The first thought was this would make for a lovely iced tea. It’s caffeine free, so it’s suitable for all age groups, too. This tea was blended for tea lovers that enjoy intense scents and teas that are packed with flavour. With so many zesty and flavourful ingredients, expectations were really high.

© All That Tea

Does it taste like strawberry laces? This tea has enough sourness and enough fruitiness to make an excellent base to create a real liquid strawberry laces treat. Add in some freshly cut strawberries when seeping, and you won’t be disappointed. Without strawberries? It needs just a tiny bit of a strawberry note.

Pretty red colour, intense scent, full flavour, and a beautiful dose of sourness make this tea great for anyone who enjoys sour treats.

How to enjoy it?

It tastes great both hot and iced. We added 2 teaspoons per cup of water to intensify the flavour and steeped for 5 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius.

This tea doesn’t need a sweetener, but it would go well with a bit of honey and served over ice. Who would like this tea? Tea drinkers that enjoy fruity blends with a zesty note or hibiscus teas. It would be perfect for making iced teas or tea lemonades.
