Ingredients
250
ml
of cold whole milk + 3 tablespoons more
if the milk is reduced during simmering, you may need to add slightly more,about 50 ml

of corn-starch
15 grams

heaped teaspoons
of black tea leaves
2
tablespoons
of sugar
2
cardamom pods
add one more if you want a veryfragrant tea

clove

small piece of Ceylon cinnamon
about 1.5-2 cm
Instructions
In a clean small bowl, mix corn-starch in 3 tablespoons of cold milk until fully dissolved.
Crush the spices using pestle and mortar. Add them to a clean dry saucepan and dry roast them over low heat until fragrant.
Add rest of the cold milk and tea leaves and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
Strain the tea into a clean saucepan and add sugar. Stir until dissolved.
Start heating it on low heat again, pour dissolved corn-starch while stirring. Pudding will start to thicken.
When thick enough, pour it into a clean serving dish.
Let it set in the fridge for at least 60 minutes.
