Homemade Chai Mocha

of Assam black tea

of light brown sugar

of whole milk

of chocolate syrup

ml
whipping cream

teaspoon
of light brown sugar for shipping cream
if unsweetened
Instructions
Add spices into a pestle and mortar and crush them.
Add spices into a small saucepan, turn the heat to high and dry roast them until fragrant.
Add water and bring it to a boil.
Reduce to medium heat and add tea leaves. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Add milk and sugar and bring it to a boil again, then reduce and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the tea into a serving glass.
Add chocolate syrup.
Whip the whipping cream until creamy but not stiff (soft peaks).
Top up chai mocha with whipped cream.
