<h2>What is Pear and Pistachio <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/green-tea/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with green tea">green tea</a>?</h2>
<p>Pear and pistachio are two common ingredients, not so commonly found together in a tea blend. Unlike apples, pears are often quite a delicate fruit, and the flavour may easily be lost among other ingredients.</p>
<p>This Pear and Pistachio tea blend from Biscuit &amp; Brew Tea House (formerly Arthur Dove) contains <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/chun-mei/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with chun mei">Chun mei</a> green tea, white tea, rosehips, apple pieces, pear pieces, orange peel, calendula petals, whole pistachios, flavourings and <a href="https://allthattea.com/tag/stevia/" class="st_tag internal_tag " rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with stevia">stevia</a> as a sweetener. A lot of ingredients that create a visually pretty blend with a sweet scent and light pear and orange notes.</p>

<p>Sounds like a fresh cake, doesn&#8217;t it? If you love baking, you already know pears and pistachios fit together perfectly, but how do they taste in a tea blend?</p>
<figure id="attachment_2057" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-2057" style="width: 683px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-2057" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-cake-jpg.webp" alt="Pear cake" width="683" height="1024" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-cake-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-cake-jpg-600x900.webp 600w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-cake-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-cake-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-cake-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-cake-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-cake-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-2057" class="wp-caption-text">© All That Tea</figcaption></figure>
<h2>How to brew this tea?</h2>
<p>Pear and Pistachio is a green tea blend, so pay attention to the water temperature. Many green teas, including Chinese Chun Mei tea, may become bitter if over-brewed or if the water is too hot. Steep one teaspoon of tea leaves per cup of water at 75 degrees Celsius for 2-3 minutes. This tea contains lots of different ingredients, so try to scoop out all of them when making tea.</p>
<figure id="attachment_2064" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-2064" style="width: 683px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-2064" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-tea-blend-jpg.webp" alt="Pear flavoured tea" width="683" height="1024" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-tea-blend-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-tea-blend-jpg-600x900.webp 600w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-tea-blend-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-tea-blend-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-tea-blend-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-tea-blend-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-tea-blend-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-2064" class="wp-caption-text">© All That Tea</figcaption></figure>
<p>Pear and Pistachio brews into a refreshing, sweet dessert cuppa with light pear notes. If a light moist pear cake dusted with icing sugar had a liquid pair, it would be this tea. It doesn&#8217;t need any sweetener, as stevia gives enough natural sweetness without adding calories and blends really well with other ingredients. None of them are taking over the blend, but create a perfectly balanced flavour instead. Pear and Pistachio tea is light, sweet and reminiscent of a light autumn pear cake. Chun Mei tea has a stronger, slightly smoky flavour, and may become bitter if over-brewed, but in this blend, it offers depth, with no bitterness at all.</p>
<figure id="attachment_2058" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-2058" style="width: 683px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-2058" src="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-green-tea-jpg.webp" alt="Green tea in a cup" width="683" height="1024" srcset="https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-green-tea-jpg.webp 683w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-green-tea-jpg-600x900.webp 600w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-green-tea-200x300.webp 200w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-green-tea-450x675.webp 450w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-green-tea-225x337.webp 225w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-green-tea-20x30.webp 20w, https://allthattea.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/pear-and-pistachio-green-tea-64x96.webp 64w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-2058" class="wp-caption-text">© All That Tea</figcaption></figure>
<p>Because of its base tea and ingredients, this blend is perfect for cold brewing in the fridge and making iced teas. It leaves a long and sweet aftertaste, with all the flavour notes present. This tea would be great for tea drinkers that enjoy sweet teas with lighter and fresher notes. It tastes great both hot and cold, so it&#8217;s the blend you can drink in different ways, depending on your mood. Since this is a green tea blend, it contains caffeine.</p>
